Call for Papers

The URBAN TEC Congress showcases innovative solutions for liveable, sustainable and resilient cities. The focus is on technologies, concepts and strategies for municipal infrastructure, digitalisation and urban transformation. The aim of the event is to bring together local authorities, industry, research and start-ups.

The 2027 edition will focus on Smart City – A Future That Connects. Presentations on this topic will be allocated more time.

The two-track congress offers a platform for practical case studies, scientific findings and new business models. Current challenges such as climate adaptation, resource efficiency and Smart City are examined holistically.

ABSTRACT AND SELECTION OF PRESENTATIONS

To ensure high quality, an expert advisory board will be established. This board comprises representatives from academia, industry and local authorities. The advisory board will evaluate the submitted contributions and shape the thematic focus of the congress.

The abstract should contain the following information:

  • Title or working title
  • Speaker / Organisation or company / Contact details
  • Language of the presentation (German or English)
  • Brief description of the contribution
  • Practical relevance or academic background
  • Has the presentation already been delivered, or has it already been submitted as part of an ongoing call for papers? If so, where?

 

PRESENTATION DETAILS
A congress lecture lasts 20-25 minutes including a subsequent question and answer session.
The presentation language is German.
